Handmade Hayfield started back in 2014 when a group of artists wanted a local outlet for their work.
It grew from 6 stalls (in a local gallery) to 30 (using the village hall and the conservative club), and then to 50+ (moving to its current venue The Royal Hotel, Hayfield – plus a hired marquee in their car park) in the last few years.

2023 sees the market return to the village hall in August and expand to the hall at St Matthew's for its festive market, joining forces with The Tent People.

The artisan festive market offers a chance to shop for gifts or to get yourself a treat with products from local and regional creatives, artists and crafters as well as small businesses.

You can also buy a slice of gourmet cake from our charity cake café (in aid of Frances House Children’s Hospice), have a drink or something to eat, or simply browse and admire the skills of the talented stallholders.
